Thanksgiving Weekend, the Beginning

And so it is October.  September blew by with incredible speed and little progress.  On September 6th, I was involved in a car accident that pretty well made the month non-existent.  Though I was not physically badly hurt, I have since battled extreme fatigue and a total lack of sleep. I have not had much energy to bake, cook, do laundry or anything I wanted to accomplish before the advent of real fall weather.
That being said, I feel lucky not to have been hurt badly, broken no bones, and back to work.
So, at this Thanksgiving, I am giving thanks, for my wonderful family (especially my patient Husband) and friends who have gone the extra mile to do the things I have not had the wear with all to do. I am thankful for the harvest and the beauty of what surrounds me.
I will move through the coming month with purpose and joy, looking to the upcoming winter with anticipatin, (even if its only to eat all the pickles made this summer)
